TRAFFIC - To some, receiving a traffic ticket may not seem like a big deal. To many, however, the financial impact of a ticket, the impact it can have on your driving privileges, even the possibility of jail and community service, are incredibly serious. In addition, the financial impact caused by increases in your insurance premiums can last for years.
In Colorado, too many points against your license and it will be suspended. The number of points allowed and the time period vary, depending on the driver’s age. For kids under 18, as little as 6 points within a 12-month period will result in a suspension!
We are here to help you through this process. We will make sure that your rights have been respected and that everything done by law enforcement was proper. We will check your driving record to make sure you fully understand the impact the violation may have and will negotiate with the prosecution to ensure you are getting the best resolution possible. In many instances we can get a case resolved with a reduction in points and without you ever having to appear in court.

-
Driving After Revocation Prohibited
-

RECORD SEALING - A criminal record can follow you for the rest of your life, interfering in your ability to get a job, get into college, get financial aid, or obtain housing. Online search tools make it easy for others to find out personal information such as arrest and conviction records. Your criminal history is an open book for potential employers, landlords, and even neighbors who are willing to pay to dig into your past.
Sealing your criminal record is a way of moving on with your life and putting mistakes of the past behind you.
In 2019 the Colorado Legislature greatly expanded the rights of citizens to seal certain criminal records. However, the process can be confusing, involves different waiting periods, and can involve a fair amount of research. We can help determine whether you are eligible to petition to seal your criminal records, do the research to identify who needs to be included in the process, and get it done.
If you or someone you know are interested in getting a fresh start and sealing your criminal record, call us at 970-452-8488 or use our online form to schedule your consultation. Evening appointments are available on request.
